September Beauty Army Box

Monday, October 22, 2012

Hello everyone! I received my October Glossybox today and I realized that I had forgotten to post about my beauty army box from last month... (shame on me).  Anyhow, here's what I got!

I picked the following products:
Lashem Measurable Difference Lash Gel
Bath and Body Works Paris Amour Shower Gel
Apothederm Stretch Mark Cream
Lipsi Cosmetics Aphrodite Power
Freeman Beauty Vita-K Professional Spider Veins Cream
Suntegrity BB Cream SPF30 (Light)

Lipsi Cosmetics Aphrodite Power
This fine finishing powder is designed to absorb the excess oil, allowing your skin to glow. Aphrodite Power sets makeup and absorbs shine while keeping your cosmetics fresh and natural all day long. This powder suits all skin types and tones.

My personal opinion:
I've tried this a couple of times and it has worked just fine for me, I would highly recommend it.

Suntegrity BB Cream SPF30 (Light)
An all in one, natural Beauty Benefit cream that treats, hydrates, protects, primes and covers the skin. Supercharged with youth promoting antioxidants that fight free radical damage, this cream also provides mineral Broad Spectrum SPF 30 coverage. Red algae and Certified Organic: aloe vera, jojoba, sunflower, pomegranate, cucumber, and green tea provide the face with additional sun defense and hydration. Non-nano sized zinc-oxide protects the skin while providing anti-inflammatory properties that help with rosacea, acne, and melasma. Carefully made for all skin types.

• Vegan
• Non-Greasy
• Non-Toxic
• Cruelty Free (PETA & Leaping Bunny Cert.)

My personal opinion:
The thing I liked the most about this BB cream is that it is cruelty free.  I'm very pale so even though this is the lightest one they had, it did not match my skin tone.  I also wish it had a better coverage but overall I was very pleased with this product cause it lasted very long and it did not cause any breaks.

Apothederm Stretch Mark Cream
The Apothederm™ Stretch Mark Cream reinforces the skin’s fundamental support structures and helps to visibly repair existing stretch marks. This fast-absorbing lotion is formulated with their patented SmartPeptide™ technology and helps build collagen while reducing the appearance of red and silver stretch marks, all while smoothing your skin’s texture.

My personal opinion:
I don't have any stretch marks but my mom does, so I gave this to her.  She seemed very pleased with it and told me that it is too soon to tell if there's any results but her skin does feel softer and hydrated.

Lashem Measurable Difference Lash Gel
Lashem’s proven Lash Enhancing Serum increases and strengthens even short, brittle and weak lashes. Measurable Difference isn't just for lashes, it enhances eyebrows too! Say goodbye to pencils and hello to fuller and more dramatic eyebrows in as little as 2 weeks.

My personal opinion:
It does work really well, I'm very excited about the results cause even though my lashes are already long I feel that they seem healthier and a bit longer. I'm very happy with this.  Also they product retails for $69.99 so this product pays for the whole box by itself.

ProVita-K Complex™ and Vitamin C dramatically reduce the appearance of spider veins while anti-aging peptides helps to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

My personal opinion:
I also gave this to my mom, she says that she doesn't really see any difference but maybe it is because it hasn't been that long since she started using it.  Can't really say much about it other than the sample size will last you for very long.

Bath and Body Works Paris Amour Shower Gel
Bath & Body Works' exclusive formula is now enriched with Shea Butter for softer, cleaner skin in their bubbliest lather ever! Moisturizing Aloe Vera and skin-loving Vitamin E combine with the romantic scents of Paris to sweeten up lather that bursts with fragrance. Paris Amour is a romantic fragrance inspired by French tulips, apple blossoms and sparkling pink champagne.

My personal opinion:
I can never say anything bad about this shower gels.  This one smells quite nice like always.  It is a nice traveling size sample which is always a good thing.

Anyways, what do you guys think about this past month box? Have you subscribed to beauty army? Would you consider it? How do you feel about these products?

  1. That looks like an amazing box! I think the products that interest me most would be the lashem lash gel (because I have short, crappy lashes), and the bath & body works shower gel (we don't have bath & body works in australia, and I looove their shower gels).

    1. Maybe your could order them online! There's no bath & body works in my country either so that's what I usually do. Thanks for your lovely comment :)
